Processing stays with the person

Oplo builds models that run on the device rather than in a data centre. That is a design decision first and a privacy one second, and it constrains what the company can build.

Personal material is not training data

What someone asks is not retained to improve a model. This does not vary by what they pay; the floor is the same on the free tier as the paid one.

Unshipped is said out loud

Every product page on this site states that what it describes is in development. Nothing is presented as shipping until it ships.

Documents carry their real status

A policy that has not been written is listed as not written. Governance is not implied by publishing a link.
